NLP - The Curriculum

While we have made considerable strides in terms of building up a significant body of expertise in our staff team, which is already making a positive difference to students’ experience, nevertheless, we are now embarking on the most exciting part of our journey so far. I am referring to developments within our Self Science Department which as of this September will see aspects of NLP incorporated into the curriculum for all year groups.

Training staff has been an essential first step in ensuring that there develops a consistency of ethos and practice across the school, and we are currently at the stage where such a “critical mass” of staff expertise and commitment is being reached. The benefits to students is becoming clearer and clearer, and yet ultimately the greatest service we can do for them is to equip them with the knowledge, skills, and attitudes so that they are able to apply them for themselves throughout their lives.
