The last Friday in June is the Leaver's Day at The New School at West Heath. It is marked by a very special celebration with a celebrity speaker, and is a day we hope the students will remember for the rest of their lives.

Students receive awards to acknowledge their attainments, achievements, efforts and for their positive contributions to school life. They also take with them an “Achievement Planner”, which not only gives details of what they have accomplished but also provides a means of documenting future success.

It is not long before our leavers return to see us and collect their GCSE certificates, usually in the autumn term. This is another happy day of celebration shared with one of our many famous friends and supporters.

We always enjoy the visits from former students, many of whom call in from time to time to let us know how they are getting on.

The proof of our success is their happiness and their success.
